I’ve never understood how people think that mutts just magically loose any health problems, I mean if purebreds just drop dead from health problems, how would they not be carried over to the mutts?
Furthermore, how many mutts have their health tests all properly done? I’ve never met anyone who argues that their mutt is magically health problem free back it up with proof, ie with proper health tests. My dogs are all cleared in their elbows, hips, hearts, eyes. I can prove that my purebred dogs are healthy.
So please, tell me. Why do people think this? They hurt my brain with their lack of logic. ):

i was bitten by a stray cat yesterday and went under treatment for rabies although the cat seemed healthy. anyways i started searching about the vaccine and found out that the rabies vaccine causes neurological complications and diseases and there are lots of articles on this. I also suffer from health anxiety and after finding out about this i have been a mess. I have been freaking out for the past few hours and i dont really know what to think. I read a lot of articles on how Rabies vaccine can cause neurological problems within 2-20 years after you get the shot. How true is that?

i feel that it is a huge and damaging misconception that this is the correct age to sell a kitten…..
there are so many reasons not to sell them this young! for starters it can damage their health, physically and mentally.
it can affect how they socialize,
and it can create permanent behavioral problems.
at 6 weeks they are the equivalent to about a 2 year old human…..
does anyone else feel the same? i would like to try and encourage people to hold onto their kittens a little longer… to make sure they have a happier life.
if everyone in the country did this i think it would reduce the number of abandoned cats and ones in shelters…..
this would only happen if there was a law brought in for this. i think in America there is a law that the kitten must be at least 8 weeks, i think this is still too low.
do you think that 6 to 8 weeks is fine? that it is enough time for the cat to develop?
please read this article and then tell me your opinions:http://www.ragdoll.com/ragdoll%20kittens…
i think 12 weeks is ideal. if not a bit longer. i got my last kitten at 15 weeks and he is a little softy! i think there is a difference.
thanks for your time everyone!

I am 19 year old college student who really has had good health throughout my life. Back in November I was hospitalized due to heart pain, which they chalked up to being paracarditis. A few weeks later the pain went away and I was pain free until February. Since February I have had pain just under the area where my arm and chest meet on the left side. At times I also get a kind of minor numbness pain in my left arm, as well as a weird feeling as if I was excited, and need to catch my breath for a second, like 4 times a month at least. I have gone to all kinds of doctors and gotten all kinds of tests, all of which show I have perfect health and provide no answers. I’ve gotten EKGs, Ecocardio Grams, a Cat Scan or MRI forgot which one, and tried various medicines (mainly anti inflammatory because they thought it was residual inflammation which it was not). I’ve never had anything like this before, and I’m pretty sure no heart problems run in my family other than the occasional high blood pressure relative, and maybe one with a heart murmur. I do get bad cases of heart burn from time to time but have been taking Protonix for a while now to deal with that. Any thoughts, or possible answers??
