He is almost 13 years old now and with the exception of having a hard time climbing stairs he is in pretty good health. Lately I have noticed however that his fur is becoming very tangled, we try to brush him every day but somehow within 12hours he has 5 or 6 dreadlocks formed in various places. When he was younger we would bath him once in a while but because of his age we do not want to stress him out with a bath especially if it isn’t going to solve the problem. (Cats naturally don’t need baths, he is an indoor cat so he doesn’t get dirty and he does still clean himself)
Would bathing him help? Is it worth it? (I feel bad brushing the tangles out of him everyday the poor guy is going to end up bald)
Are there any other solutions to this?
