Hi guys I really want a dog but I dont know what kind here are some things bout myself:
-I’m a middle school student that lives really far away from school… I wake up at 5:00 to get ready and leave at 5:40 I get home at about 3:30 on a really good day and 5;00 at the latest so seperation anxiety is a huge problem
-My mom works a lot too and gets home at like 4:30 so ya seperation anxiety huge thing :(
-I live in an apartment so I need a small dog
-The less shedding the better
-Easy to take care of dog because we dont have that much time
-No serious health risks (like daschuands have a high risk of back problems)
- known for a relaxed attitude but can be playful
-not that expensive because money is tight
-long life expectance?
Ok thats about it!!! Thanks so much to everybody who read through all of that!!! Please answer I need all the suggestions!!! Thanks

I’ve never understood how people think that mutts just magically loose any health problems, I mean if purebreds just drop dead from health problems, how would they not be carried over to the mutts?
Furthermore, how many mutts have their health tests all properly done? I’ve never met anyone who argues that their mutt is magically health problem free back it up with proof, ie with proper health tests. My dogs are all cleared in their elbows, hips, hearts, eyes. I can prove that my purebred dogs are healthy.
So please, tell me. Why do people think this? They hurt my brain with their lack of logic. ):

I have a 6 month old Caviler and I am worried about health problems with him. He was a puppy mill dog and i had not realized that until after I got him. I have never bought a dog I always adopt mutts but I fell in love with him. I have heard that they usually have health problems, and since he was a puppy mill dog will he have a higher chance? Does anyone have any Caviliers with health problems I should be concerned about?
