The dog catcher came into my yard today and told me why I did not have my dog vaccinated. In truth I don’t but I give my dog natural medicines plus she also gets vitamins instead of government approved vaccines. He gave me a warning but the dude look so menacing and had a police badge and look like he could sucker me into several of hundred of dollars in B.S. shots and fines. Its just sad

so lol you think ppl are going to believe nuts that do this stuff? and all the lies PETA blabs about dogs shows?
the show ring and other events are something for a dog to do it keeps their mind stimulated and they arent left looking at the fly on the wall all day like some dogs that have no activities.
and as a thought here:
im sure there are good and bad breeders of show dogs but why blame purebreds as a whole? sounds to much like a certain user on YA. mutts aka “mixed breeds” or “designer hybrids” arent there because they dont have a standard. there is a way an akita is suppose to look there is a way a bulldog should look there is a way a lab should look thats a standard based on phenotype yes but breed to mix breeds and you get something truly random you couldnt have counted on. and as my vet says a mix doesnt lessen the chances of health problems it CAN drastically increase them. a good breeder of purebred dogs breeds to decrease chances of inherited defects and to maintain the standard the breed was made to have. a bad breeder of purebreds breeds for just the looks and not the health of the dog and sometimes even the looks arent correct for the breed.
your thoughts on the actions thus far of PETA and those that believe purebreds are mutants?
if they are mind you theres are two since many carry characteristics of both parents only way they are going to get a dog that isnt “deformed” is to go back in time and find the worlds first domestic dog (Warra, may have spelled incorrectly) even wolves have evolved the Direwolf no longer exists after all.
Peta thinks evolution and selective breeding is mutation.

so I was talking to a good friend about this last night because we end up on the PETA subject while talking about Penn and Teller. Like I normally do I go to the PETA site to see what they are up to and to figure out if they are going to be in my area anytime soon.
So like they have become so fond of they were protesting outside of the dog show with their AKC/KKK BS. As an owner of purebreds, the daughter of a responsible breeder and just a rational human in general i’m seriously ticked off and disturbed by their train of thought.

whats worse they were dressed as Klan members. I can honestly say I probably would have gotten in trouble had I been in attendance and saw this, actually I KNOW I would have gotten in trouble.
Seriously what does PETA think they stand to gain from this? Don’t they realize that its stuff like this. the sea kittens and EVERYTHING else they do that makes people tune out everything they have to say?
Anyone else agree that dog owners; mutt and purebred need to stand up to these idiots and tell them to shut up?
