It was very bad. He had to be on strong antibiotics for 10 days in the middle of March. Now he had an allergic reaction to the meds given for a hurt leg and chewed his paws. One of his paws became an open sore and infected. So now he has to be on antibiotics again. So a month later, another 10 days of antibiotics. Does this do long-term damage? Or do the intestines repair themselves quickly? He is three years old. Only 15 lbs. If I give him yogurt will it help reverse what the antibiotics are doing to his intestines? (he has had yogurt before, he likes it and digest it well..that is not a problem) But does it help?
