Omega-3 Improves Your Pet Health

My dog had an infection from getting neutered. It was very bad. He had to be on strong antibiotics for 10 days in the middle of March. Now he had an allergic reaction to the meds given for a hurt leg and chewed his paws. One of his paws became an open sore and infected. So now he has to be on antibiotics again. So a month later, another 10 days of antibiotics. Does this do long-term damage? Or do the intestines repair themselves quickly? He is three years old. Only 15 lbs. If I give him yogurt will it help reverse what the antibiotics are doing to his intestines? (he has had yogurt before, he likes it and digest it well..that is not a problem) But does it help?

What are some available health insurance for dogs?
Is there an age limit to enroll dogs?
Preexisting problems?

well i got a breeder and im picking up my dog in two weeks i was wondering what health problems yorkies have and i know almost everything about them just im a little confused about health problems

I was wondering if any1 can point me in the right direction for some holistic care for my very special dog.
Ok, my dog is 7y/o and I have recently seen her getting stiff–limping after hiking in the woods or after she’s asleep for awhile. I did get a veterinarian diagnosis…pain meds, and glucosamine. I have started feeding her dog food w/ glucosamine in it, actually its “large breed 50+lbs” my dog weighs about 55bs.
But, I don’t want to cover her problem up with a dose of pain meds, so I declined the pain meds from the vet. -she doesnt seem to be in pain, more like stiff. If need arises I will put her on some but I want to do more for her.
I don’t have holistic vets in my area, and when I asked my vet about holistic care..he gave me a strange look.
I was hoping to get some answers from some of you that are treating your dog with holistic care.
What type of products do you use/reccomed? and do you see the benefits from it?
Can you link me to your favorite holistic web site?
Anything else you would like to add about your experiences with your “stiff” dog and holistic care?
I know this product is not holistic, what do you think of them?
