My poochie (pit bull) has been sick since last night. She started throwing up last night and has been eating a lot of grass, we have to drag her inside because all she wants to do is eat grass. And today she started throwing up mucousy blood or blood w/ grass. She hasn’t eaten anything but grass since yesturday afternoon and we keep a very close eye on her and havn’t seen her eat anything she shouldn’t. today she pooed once and it was dark almost black and grassy. she is 1 1/2 years old. She eats purina dog chow. she’s going to the vet tomorrow. but what could this be??

Okay, so, I want to go to the market (Melbourne) and buy an alive pig, I hear they have some there some weekends and are sold to make Vietnamese food.
My friend went and bought like 5 ducks there so I’m sure I can.
Of course I’m not going to get one until I know enough information about keeping one as a pet. Mum says that if I bring one home we will keep it until it gets big then send it to a farm, I’m okay with this.
I was wondering what type of environment you need to keep a pig in? Are they very loud? How big can they get up to? What do they mainly eat? Do they need grass or dirt or mud? I have 2 cats, is this a problem? Any health things I need to know about?
Just the basics

One random day my cat stopped being able to blink his right eye. Both eyeballs looked fine, and it seemed to me that he could see through both of them. His left one would react properly. It’s like the right one was frozen open, and he couldn’t shut it for the life of him. He even slept with that eye open. It was really sad….
I took him to the vet the day after I noticed this, and the vet did a number of expensive tests that turned up nothing. He said it was probably damaged nerves, but he kept my cat that day to do more testing when an ophthalmologist called. The ophthamologist apparently had no idea what’s wrong either.
Today (2 days later) I notice that in certain angles his bad eye is sparkly on the inside (dont know how to describe it) at some angles, while the normal one remains dark.
I don’t know what to do next, what the heck happens when the vets say they have no idea whats going on??? I’m very depressed and I don’t want my little pumpkin to suffer:(
Oh, and what should I tell the breeder? We also found out that he has feline herpes virus which may have come from it’s mother but is probably not connected to the eye problem…. I think I should ask her to foot some of the vet bills or… I don’t know, what the procedure is for health guarauntees in cats usually (he’s 5 months and I got him at 2 months)

my year and a half old spayed female cat weighs only 3 pounds.(she’s not a singapura, shes a domestic medium hair).she has had a full blood panel recently, its normal.she doesnt have fip, felv or faids.but ive never heard of an adult cat so small and petite.shes so tiny.she was born in a parking lot,i adopted her as a rescue.she eats and drinks normally, shes just very, very small.is this normal,or does she have some hidden health problem?shes nowhere near as active as my other 2(large!)cats,spends most of her time just lounging, not playing, but as i said, she doesnt seem to have a health problem.any1 ever hear of such a tiny cat?

Not complaining. As I am typing this, I have a severe case of COL (cat on lap). So warm and purring. Guess who runs this household?
Anyway, so many health problems. Any Manx folks out there?
