I am not breeding an dogs but I’m just curiouse what would you want tested. I am actually looking into a Bouvier des Flanders breeder so if anyone has experiance with this breed in particular. I also know I want the parents to have been shown in some type of event.

My family found a 3 month old stray kitten. We’ve had her to the vet and she’s in good health. We’ve noticed that she is unusually more flatulent than our other two cats. Infact, we’ve never had this problem with our other two cats. Is there a product or a type of kitten food that would prevent this from happening? We do feed her kitten chow – but she does sneak the adult cats’ food (indoor formula cat food).

I have had my cat for over a year and I have never had any problems with him using the litterbox. tonight, i found that he had peed on both of the bathroom rugs (conveniently located right outside of this litter box). Some sites suggest that he might have a urinary problem. However, about a week ago I gave him his first bath in that bathroom (he’s been having a shedding problem for the first time as well). Is he just being vindictive (a week later) or should I be questioning his health?

My 12 years old dog is getting old and he is having some health problem. His ear has balloon up and I bought it to the vet and they told me it will cost $900 for this procedure. Is this a reasonable price? Can anyone recommend a good vet for a reasonable fee in the SF, CA area? He also has this little blood bubble near his butt. Can this be cancer? I know it is a lot of question but I want to make the right decision to help my dog feel better. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
