I would talk to your veterinarian. They will recommend an insurance policy. Most vets in the US will recommend carecredit.

As an OAP don’t have loads a’ money, but want my 9 yr old Setter to keep fit & active. Prices seen on web range from £6.99 for 15kg to £37.99 for 15kg. Probably others even less to even more. How do I know I get what I pay for? Or shall I make up my own mix? What works best for YOUR dog? (No adverts please)

I feed my greyhounds Innova large breed and they’re doing very well on it. Some of the other top quality brands are Wellness, Canidae, Solid Gold or Timberwolf Organics. You can trust any of them – they don’t have any of the cheap fillers like beet pulp, wheat, corn or rice gluten or sorghum which is hard for dogs to digest.

He has a bladder infection, struvite crystals in his urine, and his urine was very alkaline and concentrated. So far I’ve been feeding him the canned food the vet prescribed, and giving him lots of water, but I do not want this to happen again.

I am trying to find a good quality canned cat food that my cats can eat long term that has urinary tract health benefits.

What are some good one’s that I could buy?
