I have a 9 year old indoor cat who has never had any health problems. The other day i went to pick her up and she wouldn’t let me, when i touched her it was hard all on the sides of her stomach. My dad says if we take her to the vet it’s to put her down. I don’t want to put my cat down, is there anything i can do to help her? Why is my cat’s stomach hard on the sides? Over the past year she has gained weight. 2 years old she had a problem going to the washroom in her kitty litter she would alwasys just go where she wanted. My cat throws up sometimes when we go on 2 day tips because she is lonely. And this week I didn’t have a lot of time for eher and she was lonely and threw up. I thought she threw up because she was lonely but now i am worried that she is sick. Please help. I don’t want to have to put down my cat. Is it just bloating? Or is it serious?

Ok my dog Bella (boxxer) is the best, she is seriously the best dog, she is hilarious okay, and she has so much energy and she is amazing. I got a new apartment and I left Bella with my parents, when I came to see her she had dry spots all over her fur and she was so happy to see me, I mean she was going crazy. I took her to the vet and they said she may have a thyroid problem and thats why she’s getting dry patches all over her fur. There is a huge change in her energy since I’ve been gone and she is not the same… do you think she may be depressed or something since I left her?

Right now my family has one incredible dog, and a truly wonderful cat. But, due to health problems and a busy life in general, keeping up with the constant pet fur is getting to be too much. Once these pets are gone (they are both nine years old and really showing it), I’m thinking that a rabbit is our best choice of pet. Is there much difference between the different breeds? Which is best for a busy family?

if your cat has kittens they end up getting ill or die for no reason and they drink their milk from their mom daily at the right times and stuff … then it’s most likely (i say definently actually) because of their mothers milk. i know from experience because my cat had the same problem and its something that you can RARELY get rid of. if your cat has a litter twice and they die or get really ill then it would be best for you to get them nuetered fast!! because it can cause health problems with your cat when in pregnancy and having kittens and then losing kittens is absolutely heart-braking to you and to your cat … i ended up having to bottle feed her last litter and it still was very difficult fo them . so this is very important to cat lovers and breeders to know !! let me know if you agree on that. –livY
