Help Me W/ My Cat..lump Under The Neck??????
Posted by: Alan in Cat Health Problem, tags: Cat..lump, Help, Neck, Under
my cat always love to go roll in the dirt..etc.. but there is also a bee issue on the side of the house…
he just had a swollen eye but that healed but now he has a loss of hair and a soft bump under his chin w/ a red sore on top of it..w/ missing fur around it…
could it be a health problem?
a bee sting?
a bug bite or cut infected?
or idea…

It could be a problem with an owner who keeps letting her cat outside to continually get injured!
How about getting this poor animal checked out by a vet. Did he ever see a vet for his swollen eye? If not then you are definitely not someone who should be a pet owner. Yikes.

Vet visit. Can wait until Monday if your cat is eating and acting normal. If the cat is weak or not eating, you should go in to see an emergency vet asap. I agree that this could be an abscess. He is an outdoor cat so many causes are possible. I don’t know how old he is, if he is an older cat the possibility of it being a tumor is higher than if he is a younger cat. These are some (not all) possibilities. Go see a vet asap. Good luck.

Sounds a lot like an abscess from a bite – if the cat is otherwise stable, have the vet see him in the morning.

Could be cancer, some cats are prone to cancer more than others. White cats, ginger cats and cats with pink noses&orange noses, brown ears, white tips even some grey cats can get skin cancer as some greys.
Suggest you take the cat to vet ASAP an get her checked out.

most definently i would take him right to the vets
some animals can be alergic to bees
these are your babys just like a human.if this were your child
u would not hesitate to see a dr..
well if more people would treat there animals like children
then animal abuse would decrease
