the Republicans cant block anything….(Dems control senate and house)….. need a better bill…that works…not one even Obama didn’t read…
When Obama’s own party abandons him that tells you the Bill is horrible

Yes because Blue Dog Dem’s & Republican’s should just go ahead and pass a piece of crap legislation that doesn’t in fact deal with the real problems of Healthcare, price inflation (costs). They also shouldn’t factor in little things like the COST to the American people & business because liberals are impatient and Obama wants it NOW (rantings of a spoiled child). Who really cares that the Chinese have the power to sink America because our debt load is out of wack, let’s put on our idiotic liberal blinders that everything is fine.
Yes, let’s ignore these HUGE issue’s (despite the fact that over 90% of Americans HAVE Health insurance) to go ahead and cover the 4% of American’s that are not covered.
I’m not suggesting we should continuing to ignore the 4% forever but if it takes 1 – 2 years to develop a well thought out solution than so be it.
Edit: I’m assuming you (the asker) is giving thumbs down but why ignore the real problems with the current legislation because you are impatient and because Obama wants it now? It’s biased / partisan people that IGNORE legitimate questions / concerns because they are followers.

Politicians make deals with drug companies to keep the price of your medicine high. They won’t be doing anything to give better coverage for people. It will depend on who pads their pockets.

Hey, have you noticed the stock price of big insurer United Health? It’s way, way, down. They announced earnings the other day. Earnings down, enrollments down.

They are trying their best but they realize that there is more that they can do.
The health insurance lobby is rich and powerful and their servants in Congress are devoted and loyal.

They are trying to fix Obama’s screwed up health care problem! If we take Obama’s package it will wipe out the private insurance and that is not what most people want it will also jeopardize peoples life insurance. I don’t want his plan it sucks I read some of it, they even go as far as calling the people in nursing homes as mental retards I thought that word was not socially acceptable. Obama is ruining this country he wants lg. gov. and in return we lose the right to choose. I want my America back!

What traitorous Blue Dogs and holy roller Republicans are attempting is far worse that trying to protect health insurance companies. they are in fact, attempting to be a voice for the tax payers.
Do you realize, this health care thing has gone so far that NOW Watch dog groups are actually suggesting our legislatures read and understand the bills/burdens they are enacting on the worker domes/ tax payers

I really don’t think health insurance companies are the villains in health care.
The true villains are doctors and drug companies.
Doctors pressure government to restrict entry to the medical field so they can maintain their monopoly and their inflated fees.
Most American doctors are nothing but drug pushers.
Drug companies pressure the government to outlaw importation of effective drugs that have been used safely in Europe for years.
The government finances drug research in universities which is then patented by drug companies to add to their monopolies.
Drug companies and doctors have hooked millions of kids on Ritalin.
